Dredged Material Management Plan Update

Brief description:

This work will update the Dredged Material Management Plan (DMMP) that exists for the Savannah Harbor expansion project. It will utilize the current plan and the build on the analysis conducted during the Feasibility Study. Included in the work are:

An evaluation of disposal area capacity and planned usage through the potential construction date of a deeper channel
An evaluation of the disposal plans that exist through the potential construction date of a deeper channel
An evaluation of dredged material usage
Calculation of dredging quantities for construction of the project alternative channel configurations
Design of in-water placement of dredged material
Preparation of an evaluation report to be used in the preparation of the GRS/EIS report.

Current status:

Complete - subject to modification if project requirements are modified. Until the final project configuration is determined, this update could be revised.
